At Total Building Maintenance, Inc., we follow a defined process to ensure your satisfaction from day one. Our proven seven-step system below ensures quality in every job we do.
- Area Supervisor Assigned. Before we set foot inside your building to clean, we make sure we have management in place to handle all your needs. All of our Area Supervisors are experienced in the janitorial services business, and have attended the most up-to-date industry training.
- Crew Selection. Each Area Supervisor thoroughly checks that all crew members meet minimum job requirements — including work experience in the industry and conscientiousness to perform all tasks completely — and are well matched to your needs.
- Training. All of our employees attend a comprehensive 72-hour training program prior to performing work in any of our customer’s buildings. We utilize:
- Classroom Training (Facilitator-led videos)
- On-the-Job Training
- Supervised Practice
In addition to the training and education we provide for standard work practices, each employee receives safety-related training including,
- Safe working practices,
- Chemical and hazardous materials,
- OSHA standard training (Right to Know video).
- Industry-specific training for such topics as blood-borne pathogens, as-needed
- Building Start-Up & Walk-Through. Prior to the official launch of your service, your salesperson will complete a building inspection with the Area Supervisor and the assigned crew to outline the expectations for building maintenance levels and identify existing gaps in cleanliness.
- On-Going Communication. We stay in close contact with building management on a daily basis for quality control purposes. Plus, our quality control team is available to you 24/7, and will respond within 30 minutes of your call.

- Quality Control. We continually follow through on our commitment to quality service by conducting frequent building inspections. Your assigned Area Manager is responsible for inspections, as well as obtaining feedback from you. For our larger customers, we have automated quality control scorecards that provide you with a weekly assessment of your facility’s cleanliness. Our Client Management System enables you to quickly and easily give us your feedback in real time.
- Respond & Recovery System. If you’re ever dissatisfied with our service or have a problem with your account, we’re ready to step in to fix the problem immediately. Total Building Maintenance, Inc. has developed a rapid 24-hour Respond & Recovery System. We follow four simple steps to ensure that any issue or concern is resolved quickly.

- Determine and implement the appropriate solution
- Follow-up with our customer to ensure resolution within a 24-hour period
